Professional support for your mental health, emotional wellbeing and personal growth

Hello, I'm Carly Champion,
I am an HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and full member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), with over 17 years’ experience supportingchildren, young people and adults.
I specialise in trauma-informed, person-centred art therapy, supporting people experiencing anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, low self-esteem and emotional difficulties. I provide a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where creativity can help you explore emotions, process difficult experiences, build resilience and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
My approach is holistic and client-led, drawing on a range of psychological theories and evidence-based practices. You do not need to consider yourself “artistic” to benefit from art therapy. The focus is on the process rather than the finished artwork, with creative expression offering another way to communicate and explore thoughts and feelings when words can sometimes feel difficult.
I have specialist experience working with neurodiversity, emotional dysregulation, attachment and complex trauma, as well as supporting people experiencing loss, grief, separation, domestic abuse and long-term health conditions. I have worked across schools, healthcare and community settings, including in partnership with local authorities and the NHS.
I offer individual 60-minute sessions, both in person and online, tailored to your individual needs and at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I also offer a free initial consultation to discuss your needs and explore whether art therapy is right for you.
My aim is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, understood and supported as you move towards healing, self-discovery and personal growth.

Hi I'm Victoria,
I am a Counsellor and Hypnotherapist, registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and the National Hypnotherapy Society. I am also a qualified Menopause Coach.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to make positive changes in their life, sometimes we just need the right support to help us find our way forward. I work with adults and offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore whatever is bringing you to therapy. Compassion is at the heart of the way I work.
As an Integrative Therapist, I tailor my approach to you as an individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside Hypnotherapy, where appropriate.
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, grief and loss, low confidence and self-esteem, depression, trauma, as well as issues around menopause and emotional wellbeing.
Together, we can explore not only what is happening for you now, but also whether experiences from the past may be influencing the way you think, feel and respond today.
My aim is to help you understand yourself more deeply, develop the tools and confidence to manage life’s challenges, and create meaningful and lasting change.
There are times in our life when things feel overwhelming, confusing or very different from how it used to be, and having a safe space to talk and be truly heard can make a real difference.
Sessions are 1 hour in duration and you can attend either in person at the Mamhilad Wellbeing Hub or, from the comfort of your own home, via an online platform (of your choice).
Some clients prefer online therapy as its accessible with the click of a button, and others like the face to face experience. The choice is yours.

Hello, I'm Regane,
I'm a counsellor and I am passionate about creating a space where people feel genuinely comfortable being themselves. I work with children, teenagers, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, overwhelm, self-esteem difficulties, and relationship or family challenges.
I offer integrative counselling, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches to shape sessions around you and what you need so that you feel heard and understood.
Life can feel loud and overwhelming, especially when you’re trying to hold everything together. My role is to walk alongside you, creating a calm space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
You can expect sessions that centre around what matters the most to you. Each session is shaped around your goals, your pace and the areas you want to explore. My aim is to help you understand what’s happening for you and support you in moving forward in a way that feels manageable.
I offer both in-person and online sessions. Each session lasts 50 minutes.

Hi, I'm Carla,
I am a Counsellor & Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and Kundalini Yoga Teacher.
I have over 13 years experience counselling young people and adults across schools, the NHS and community services.
My earlier work of mentoring and supporting young families and young people leaving foster and residential care, shaped the trauma-informed, compassion focus of my work.
I offer one-to-one integrative counselling and psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and Kundalini yoga classes and workshops.
Where appropriate, therapy can include movement, breathwork, meditation or sound healing practices to support emotional wellbeing and nervous system regulation.
I work with young people (14+) and adults experiencing trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, overwhelm, life transitions, or when familiar coping strategies no longer feel enough. I am experienced in working with people from diverse backgrounds.
My approach is compassionate and collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from person-centred, CBT, existential, solution-focused, mindfulness-based and relational psychodynamic approaches, integrating body and breath awareness where this feels supportive.
I aim to support empowerment by listening carefully to your needs, pace and goals. My practices are trauma-informed and deeply relational, creating space for curiosity, resilience, self-understanding and meaningful change. When working with young people, sessions are adapted creatively to suit their age and individual needs.
Counselling sessions are 50 minutes and supervision sessions 90 minutes, available online or in person at Mamhilad Wellbeing Hub.
I also offer outdoor sessions, weekly Kundalini yoga classes and workshops by request.

Hi I'm Rachel,
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, choosing what best supports you as an individual. No two people are the same, so our work together shouldn’t be either. Sessions are collaborative, empowering and rooted in building a safe, supportive relationship where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self.
I offer face-to-face and online therapy, with sessions lasting between 1 and 1.5 hours.
I can support you to make sense of past experiences that may still be affecting you today, understand difficult or confusing relationships, and explore deeper-rooted issues that continue to impact your wellbeing. I provide a grounded, judgement-free space where you can slow down, breathe and explore what is really going on beneath the surface.
My specialist areas include:
My approach is tailored to you rather than expecting you to fit a particular model. Together, we can explore your history, patterns, strengths and hopes, helping you develop greater self-understanding, healthier coping strategies and more fulfilling relationships.
I also work with children and young people aged 7–18, supporting them to make sense of their experiences and rebuild confidence in a way that feels right for them.
My extensive and diverse background in education has shaped my commitment to inclusivity and building positive, trusting relationships with my clients.

Hi I'm Bethan,
I have worked in health and wellbeing for over 15 years and feel excited to have created Soma as this brings together my different passions and expertise.
I offer somatic counselling sessions that use a variety of techniques including talking therapy, somatic movements, parts therapy, bi-lateral processing, hypnotherapy, yoga and reiki to help clients to build a relationship with their body and to process trauma.
I also offer yoga sessions that are uniquely fitted to the people in that class. They are for all bodies and everybody. Some of the classes are designed to energise and enliven and others are designed to slow down, tune in and leave you with a deeper sense of your own body.
Underpinning my work is also nature immersion. Whether this includes using tea ceremonies to bring an awareness of how we connect in a simple way with the naturel world or for deeper work that is conducted outside. We are part of nature and our disconnection from it is mirrored in our disconnection to our bodies.
I work with individuals over the age of 18 who have suffered trauma within their lives and are seeking a new way to try and process this from both their mind and body.

Hello, I’m Izzy,
As a dedicated and compassionate counsellor, my aim is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore the challenges you are experiencing and work towards greater emotional and mental wellbeing.
I use a pluralistic approach, recognising that everyone is different and that there is no single approach to therapy that works for everyone. I draw on person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT approaches, working collaboratively with you to explore your experiences, understand what may be influencing how you think and feel, and identify goals that are meaningful to you.
My creative background also allows me to offer alternative ways of exploring thoughts and emotions. Creativity, visual aids, art and writing can sometimes provide a different way to communicate and process experiences, particularly when words alone feel difficult.
I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, anger, low self-esteem and feelings of overwhelm. I also support people experiencing work-related stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, significant life changes and the everyday pressures of life.
Together, we can explore what is happening for you in the present while considering how past experiences may influence your thoughts, feelings and behaviours today. My aim is to help you develop greater self-understanding, build practical coping strategies and feel more confident in managing life’s challenges, both now and in the future.
I offer individual 50-minute sessions, either face-to-face or online, depending on what feels most comfortable for you.

Hi, I’m Lorna,
I am a person-centred counsellor, and I believe you don’t need to have everything figured out before you come to counselling. You can arrive exactly as you are — no rehearsed story, no perfect answers and no need to have your “stuff” together.
I’m warm, curious and informal, and I want our sessions to feel like a space where you can breathe rather than another place where you feel you have to perform or get things “right”.
I’m interested in you — your story, your experiences, what makes you tick and the things that have shaped you.
I want you to feel able to bring the real stuff into the room: the difficult thoughts and feelings, anger, sadness, confusion, laughter and everything in between. You don’t need to make yourself smaller, tidier or easier to understand.
Perhaps you feel lost, overwhelmed or unsure which way to turn. Maybe you keep finding yourself repeating the same patterns and don’t understand why, or perhaps you simply know that something needs to change but don’t know where to start.
That’s where we begin.
I see each person as a unique puzzle, sometimes with pieces that feel missing, misplaced or difficult to understand. Together, we can gently explore those pieces, make sense of your experiences and uncover what may have been overlooked or buried along the way.
Counselling isn’t about me having all the answers. It’s about creating a safe, supportive space where you can discover your own.
You don’t need to arrive polished.
Just arrive.
